week 1 | wednesday night | eleanor, ranpo

[this is taking place in wildkat so enjoy the food! ]
So, there's a note we found about Reapers and Entry Fees. It's written weird like a personal note so I can sum it up.
[ also i also don't know if he can find the note in here again? it's a winners-access thing ig. anyway, he holds up a finger. ]
The first is that Players don't know their specific entry fees! For some it's obvious what it is, like Izaya-san and his eyesight. For others, you just know something's missing. I kinda figured what's mine, but it's not I know what it is for sure.
[ second finger! it's a bunny now. ]
The second and more important thing: Reapers don't have to pay an entry fee.

Please use your inside voice, Ranpo.
[ Anyway, now that Ranpo is (mostly) done acting a fool, she'll get back to their questions. She dabs her mouth with a napkin (kindly offered by Madara, aka the only other person in this room with manners). ]
I'll tell you the summary of what I learned from my questioning of the host. Essentially.. every week a player who isn't a Reaper is picked based on their performance. They choose an item and that item allows them some sort of advantage.. I think. I asked if all the items had positive consequences but he wouldn't answer. The item I picked just so happened to have the effect that it did— but yes, if someone gets the same set of items they could end up choosing the same thing I did.

[ well at the crash, madara can only make a small sound of surprise, but he recovers fast enough that he doesn't worry too much. at the reveal of what eleanor did, he rests his chin in his hand, you know, that typical thinking pose. ]
You were very fortunate too, that's a good advantage to know exists. Even when it just proved someone is innocent, and the group of players is larger right now.
[ farther down the line, it would be invaluable. he can see that at least ]
If Ranpo-san and I ever get that opportunity, can we know which item you picked, and what was available? It would be obvious and convenient to go for what you've chosen, but I'm curious about the others. I'd be sure to tell you both though.
[ curiosity, don't kill this cat, please. ]
