[ after the execution, madara is very spacey. he's trying not to think about things, so he's out for a walk in shibuya. he walks by i glittery can't, so it wouldn't be a surprise to come across a sweet little mary. it's now the best store here, honestly. ]

Mary's face twists sadly as she sees him looking--and sounding--so down and depressed. It makes sense, of course. After what happened earlier...instead of asking him if he's okay, she just wraps herself around his arm. There's no way he's doing okay right now.]

I'm going to miss her.

[ at first it seems like he doesn't really react to mary hugging his arm... until she gets his other hand set atop her head. he appreciates it ]

I will too. She didn't have a chance at all with that kind of partner...

[ a chance at this game, he means. but words are hard with this level acute emotional wrecking. ]

[All she can provide are hugs to ease the heartache of others. From around his waist, Mary looks up at him.]

She was so, so nice. It must have been scary to do what you had to do for her, but I bet she was really glad she got to see you right up until the end. Because you're so nice, too, Madara.

Maybe, Sometimes I'm nice, but not always, because it make being an adult hard. But being nice should be easy. I bet Maya-san did.

[ in a gestures that's seemingly just to bend down and hug her back more considerately due the difference in height, he actually uses it to pick her up gently. now she can be tall too. ]
