Well, there is that-- not much we can do about being picked off and making the others have to play a game with our deaths.

But, we and some others have powers that could "help" or maybe even "save" others's lives if we so choose. [ he knows you charge for your services, so he might have made a quick face. ] They're also publicly known to the other players.

Sure, they could get rid of us if they don't want to risk botching the job or getting interrupted, and their victim being healed-- but on the other hand, if they do take all of us out, they lose the ability to take advantage of what we can do.

Fair enough! That's one way to put it that has me more at ease~ I don't like the idea I might help a Reaper, but that's how it is, I guess.

Would it be rude to keep track somewhere of who I healed? I think it would be useful in the future...

You could be helping one of them at any time, is the thing. If you're that worried about it, at least make sure you get something in return so you don't help a Reaper for nothing.

What would you want to use it for, though, calling them out if they get healed and try to hide it? It'll still be your word against theirs, whether you've got a list or not.
